The kingdom of Sheba was located in the Southwest of Arabia. Estimates indicate that this kingdom was ruled by the Queen of Sheba sometime around the years 900 to 1000 B.C. The incense the Sabeans produced was much sought-after. In Sheba, there was no poverty and its people were healthy and happy. The queen of Sheba became a very well known figure mostly for her journey to Jerusalem where she went for the purpose of exhorting Solomon not to neglect his important mission on Earth.
Protected geographically, the difficult access to Sheba isolated the area from the impurity that already back then quickly spread throughout the land, darkening and transforming human existence into something like life in a valley of tears. Prophets and special envoys were incarnating in order to warn humanity about the future they were making for themselves, which was one of the reasons why the Messiah's coming was a must. And the Messiah's coming was also necessary because human beings were moving toward their own destruction even before the “time of harvest”. And like a Ray of Light He did, descending from the Highest Heights in order to break through the Darkness.
According to history, about 3.000 years have already gone by since Sheba, the country of a thousand fragrances, was the home of radiant and happy people. There, the incense woodlands surrounded the city in a wide circle, a place where many rosebushes flourished in the gardens. This wonderful and perfumed “world” was little by little swallowed by sand dunes, transforming everything into a desert.
Sheba was the home of a noble queen who was seriously concerned with the Sabean's lack of gratitude. Her name was Biltis.
“My greatest wish is to be worthy of my royalty…worthy before the Creator, to Whom we owe our lives. We, the Sabeans, live in joyful happiness and we are surrounded by beauty here on Earth. Powerful luminous spirits have their hands stretched over our country and over us as well. Now I ask you: What are we doing in exchange? What are we giving in return for the happiness and wealth of our country? In what way are we showing our gratitude?
A human being who only takes without giving anything back jeopardizes his or her happiness and harms the soul! Most likely, such a person will be born in poverty in his next earth-life! He or she might even have to spend the whole life as a beggar.
How do we prove our love… our gratitude… our veneration… to the Omnipotent Creator? By forgetting Him? By opening our temples to lies…? The same lies that have found shelter in all the temples on Earth… the same lies that disfigure and darken the Truth?”
The Queen of Sheba was determined and firm the day she faced the priests who had sold out to the Darkness as they were allowing lies to be introduced into the temples.
However, Biltis also acted beyond Sheba's boundaries, as she planned to pay King Solomon a visit.
With a pompous royal caravan, she entered Jerusalem, carrying along a lot of gold destined for the Temple of the Almighty, and a severe warning to Solomon. This was, in spite of Betsaba's impertinence, who feared to lose her influence over her son to Biltis whom she considered a haughty and independent foreigner.
And Biltis went straight to the point and exhorted Solomon to look after his people whose king he was, and to prepare them for the coming of God's Envoy, Who, according to the prophecies, would be born in that country.
“(…) You must prepare the people whose king you are for the coming of God’s Envoy, Who, according to the prophecies, will be born in this country. At the same time, you should awaken the desire to serve Him in the human souls! For this very purpose, the faith of your people shall remain pure! The acts of cults you allow in your country have darkened the purity of the Faith and have kept human beings away from their luminous homeland!
To bring out the matter of the coming of God’s Envoy today is not going to help much”. Solomon said.
You are wrong, Solomon! The knowledge concerning the Son of God and the desire to serve Him continues to live within the people’s souls, even after their earthly death! Moreover, that knowledge and desire to serve will awaken within their new earthly bodies when they come and reincarnate again on Earth, probably at the time the Envoy of God comes. They shall immediately recognize Him and they will be thankful for the opportunity to serve Him.”
The meeting with the Queen of Sheba was the greatest turning point in King Solomon's life. He should have changed his route with his free will and should have abandoned sensuality and the degrading acts which were his habit. But Solomon did not let go these vices and therefore he failed spiritually. He allowed the pure belief to be contaminated with the disastrous degeneration and lasciviousness deriving from the cult of Baal, which promoted sexual aberrations as a source of happiness, and cunning as the means of maintaining power.
He did not prepare his people as he was supposed to. Instead, he encouraged depravity and orgies in the festivities of the cults which included bloody rituals of animal sacrifices.
He failed even materially speaking, as he stopped managing his properties appropriately. He became indebted on account of his pursuit of luxuries and orgies, thereby inflicting poverty upon the people.
If Solomon had been faithful to his mission humanity would have been led to less gloomy paths and a great proportion of the people would have been able to recognized the Messiah naturally and rivalries and confrontations would probably never have come about.
